Project Overview
On this project, we did a full exterior renovation that included a completely new design for the house. The homeowner wanted to modernize the house as it was looking dated and showing some wear and tear on the exterior. Here’s how we took the house and updated it:
New Andersen windows and removal of the dated shutters. We kept the trim simple and white. We replaced the standard white garage doors with black garage doors in a modern style. The front door was replaced with a Thermatru fiberglass door in a darker color to contrast against the siding. The fiberglass columns on the front porch were stained to look like wood, and we removed the white railings which were detracting from the front porch. The siding is Certainteed Double 5″ Charcoal gray with board and batten accents for visual appeal. We also replaced the roof, using GAF Timberline HDZ Roof to complement the new siding. The client was thrilled with the results.
