We began by constructing a new custom front porch topped with a dark bronze standing seam metal roof, perfectly complementing the property’s beachside location. The entire home received a roof upgrade with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles in the elegant Appalachian Sky color—offering both curb appeal and long-lasting performance in harsh coastal conditions.
For siding, we installed Nu Cedar—a premium PVC alternative to cedar shake siding that delivers the timeless look of real wood without the ongoing maintenance. This was paired with AZEK decking and a sleek TimberTech cable railing system, creating a clean, modern aesthetic that resists the elements.
To achieve a high-end finish under the deck, we painted all visible lumber black before installing horizontal skirting with solid white PVC trim. This subtle detail is one of our signature techniques to conceal structural elements and ensure a crisp, polished appearance.
